For this series of articles on designers who use wire in their work, we decided to start with Dominic Wilcox and his exhibit from London's Gopher Hole gallery.
The title of the exhibition "About a Minute" urged the authors to hold the attention of visitors for 1 minute. We hope that our section will also bring our clients a moment of joy, surprise and inspiration.
The British designer gave the title to his work "Don't Touch the Chair".
A chair is made from a whole piece of 3 mm wire, bent without soldering or cross-section. To verify this, there is an additional element, which is an open-ring holder. Visitors are invited to lead the ring through the maze without touching the wire. If this happens, “Do Not Touch Chair” sounds loudly through the loudspeaker.
You will be amazed at the possibilities that a regular piece of wire dusty in your garage offers. We offer you to create your own labyrinth using the same scheme! This is a great option for spending leisure time with friends. When everything is done, you can invite them to visit to test your nerves and hand for stability.
