How the grant changed the life of Sitka Zahid
Thanks to the state grant programme for processing enterprises, which is part of the Made in Ukraine policy, Sitka Zakhid received UAH 8 million in 2022 to modernise its production.
Receiving a grant is not just money, it is a chance to turn a crisis into an opportunity, not only to support the company and the country's economy, but also to develop the enterprise.
What did you manage to change with these funds? Having received UAH 8 million, our company purchased the necessary equipment for independent wire drawing, which allowed us to ensure stable operation even during a full-scale war.
Reducing dependence on suppliers allowed the company to stabilise production and focus on development. Thanks to the new equipment, we are able to increase production volumes, increase availability and reduce costs.
Today, up to 30% of our products are exported to Europe, in particular to Poland, France and Lithuania. At the same time, we fulfilled the terms of the grant and created twenty-five new jobs by automating some of the physically demanding work.
