Petrovsky Fair is a traditional annual holiday in Chernivtsi. It originated in the times of Austria-Hungary before the day of Saints Peter and Paul and was a real center of trade not only in Bukovina, but also in the whole of South-Eastern Europe. Currently, the program of the fair includes: exhibitions and sales of consumer goods, presentations of local and domestic producers, construction industry, furniture, services, products of masters of folk crafts, entertainment and cultural and artistic events.
For several years in a row, the Petrovsky Fair in Chernivtsi has been held in the city center - on the main streets and main squares. This year the holiday will take place on July 7-8.
