Exercise is extremely important for the harmonious development of man. Sport strengthens health, more oxygen enters the blood, the whole body is in shape. Also, sport forms the right values, the desire to set a goal and achieve it, forms a personality, hardens the willpower. In today's world, when most people, due to the nature of their occupations, lead a sedentary and sedentary lifestyle, it is necessary to devote time to sports to keep themselves in shape. By sports we do not mean sports, which are engaged in professional athletes, but various kinds of physical activity: training in the gym, jogging in the fresh air, dancing, swimming, fitness and others.
In fact, after a working day, few people have the strength for some physical activity, but there are people for whom it is not just a way of recovery or some forced occupation, for some sport becomes a lifestyle, something that gives strength, something without which they already are. do not imagine their existence. One of such people is Yatsko Olesya, an employee of Sitka Zakhid LLC.
  • Olesya, where did your passion for sports begin?
My passion began as a child. I remember playing football with my neighbors on the street as a kid. The neighbors were mostly guys, so I didn't have much choice for other games, but I liked it very much. Then school began, where my favorite subject was physical education. It all started with that.
As an adult, due to lack of time, I paid less attention to sports, but somehow realized that I had to go back. At first I wanted to enroll in the gym, but saw that fitness classes were being opened near the house and decided to give it a try. That's how this "attempt" has been going on for 2 years. At first I did fitness, but recently a crossfit hall was opened in the same hall and I decided to switch to this type of training.
  • Why did you decide to change fitness to crossfit?
First, there is a more experienced coach. He is a master of sports, a champion in athletics, and his wife teaches fitness. And secondly, I already had enough physical training, so I wanted to try something more difficult. Sometimes it is very difficult, but despite all the difficulties and pain, I still go to class every time with pleasure and enthusiasm.
  • Compare yourself 2 years ago, before sports and now. What changes do you see?
Most importantly, my health has improved. I really started to get sick less often and I feel very well. I began to stand out beautiful sports reliefs on the body, which I so longed for and worked on for so long, the figure became more toned and slimmer.
  • You recently took part in sports competitions. Tell us about them.
In honor of the end of the summer season, two of our coaches organized a joint session for all members of fitness and crossfit groups. At first we just practiced in the fresh air, then rested and started competing. It was necessary to perform the "burpa" exercise in a minute. The winner is the one who performed this exercise the most times. I took 2nd place, the winner made 31 burps in a minute, and I did 30. But I'm happy with the result and it only motivated me and set a goal that next time I should definitely win.
