On September 15-16, 2018 in Kiev, on the territory of the City of Sports in Hydropark, the XV Cup of Ukrainian Builders was held, in which the "Grid West" team took part.
The Builders' Cup is the most anticipated event in the sports life of the construction industry, this year 24 teams competed for the championship. The main difference of the Cup was that two tickets to the European Championship among builders, which will be held in May 2019, were played at the autumn tournament.
By tradition, our company regularly takes part in such events, because they greatly help the team to develop professionally and culturally, as well as to realize their hobbies.
Team spirit, mutual assistance, understanding are things without which the team cannot coherently exist. We are proud of the courage and perseverance of our employees, who took the initiative to participate and adequately represented "Sitka Zakhid" at the championship. There was everything: falls, hits, joy, disappointment, fear - emotions overwhelmed both the players and our fans, to whom we are infinitely grateful for their support and faith.
Our company consists of 12 branches throughout Ukraine, so we set a goal to gather willing workers from as many regions as possible in order to form such an all-Ukrainian team, as well as once again meet a friendly team and establish partnerships between branches.
The company's honor was defended by representatives: from Chernivtsi - Maxim Shersten, Denis Konoplyanko, Andrey Kalinyuk, Alexander Slivka; Odessa - Borisov Vladislav; Khmelnitsk - Andrey Butim; Poltava - Nikolay Petrakov, Evgeny Samsonenko, Victor Yaroshenko.
On September 15, 2 games were expected for the guys: at 12.30 with the Agromat company and at 14.45 with the Ministry of Regional Development. On September 16, a game was played with Seaps.
Teamwork is the ability to direct individual efforts towards one goal and move towards it together. Teamwork is what allows ordinary people to achieve impressive results. Our footballers are convinced that such events are a great opportunity to test and overcome oneself, enjoy sports and communicate with other fellow athletes.
Since the company took part in this event for the first time, it was not possible to win, but we gained invaluable experience and knowledge. The Grid West team is already preparing for the next championship and will gladly take part in it.
